@Media Stereotypes Hi, I'm one of Korean citizen and watched this video today. Let me clarify one: the place is Marado (the southernmost part of Korea) , not Jindo. I anyhow, would say I and most people commenting here may know your warm heart thinking of the loyal dog. It is quite touching. I partially agree with you, all dogs are like children, the loyal children, can never be OK to be abandoned. For the old couple, however, as people said(& 심심 said), unfortunately, they were not the owner of the dog from the first time. What they did wrong were giving the dog foods and shelter near their house. Of course the dog had opened his heart BECAUSE OF the kindness from then and if then the old couple probably have to be a owner (& family)of him. In this point of view, I agree to your opinion. But it is not very proper to blame the old couple. (as I mentioned at the beginning, they were not the owner but just provided and protected him for good purpose.) I commented this to let you and people know that this video was not made to blame the old couple (it will remind them to think about the dog once more tough) but to make people know there is a loyal dog and if any dog is left alone apart its family, it will feel very said like a child, so never let him/her alone, I think.
